MINERAL DE POZOS, GUANAJUATO
Nestled between the hills and
clouds at 7,500 ft. above sea level and
only 25 miles from San Miguel de Allende is Pozos, Guanajuato.
This once opulent colonial city
lived through several gold bonanzas from 1576 through the Mexican
Revolution of 1910, and was declared an Historical National Monument by
the Mexican Government in 1982.

ACTIVITIES IN POZOS
Exploring Ex-Haciendas, old ruins, chapels and underground
mine tunnels are some of the popular adventures awaiting you in Pozos.
You can take a mountain bike to the top pf Cerro Pelon, (elevation 8,200
feet) and visit the historical chapel, or do it on horseback. Either way
it's a challenging experience.

The weather in
Pozos is sunny, but never hot in summer, and cool to cold in the winter.
Fireside chats are a favorite pastime in Casa Mexicana, and in our center
courtyard, enjoy the peace and solitude of the garden surrounded by
peach, pomegranate and fig trees, where you can just doze off in the
hammock, and dream about staying here forever.
